About

Gareth Borcherds

In 2006 I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University. I thought that was a pretty sweet accomplishment. I even did it in three years by taking over 20 credits a semester. But then I got out into the real world and realized I haven’t learned squat. It is because of this realization that I wanted to take part in Young and Prosperous.

We learn many things in this life. We learn them in many different ways, but as Robert Kiyosaki teaches in Rich Dad Poor Dad, money and how it works is something seldom taught to us. I don’t claim to know everything about money, but I am willing to learn, research, and share my knowledge with others so that we can participate in learning together. My hope is that we put away the stigmatization of needing a degree, needing some kind of experience, just to have the right to talk about things. I think the more we talk and the more we learn from each other, the more we will all be successful.

With that purpose in mind, I invite you to not only read our opinions, thoughts, research, and experience, but to share with us yours as well. I hope we can all learn from each other. This is who I am, someone just trying to find a better way to do anything I can. Let’s do it together.

I wake up every day and say “Life is great”. I’m a self-proclaimed serial internet entrepreneur who loves to extend the limits on everything and everyone around. I don’t understand why people limit themselves to live in a way that others have deemed possible and “the only way.”  I’m an avid dreamer who lives in those dreams every day. I look to improve my life and the lives of those around me, day-by-day. If I haven’t done something daily for somebody who will never be able to repay, I haven’t lived a full and satisfying day.  I change the way you think about what’s possible. I have a clear vision of how life can be better for myself and try and hope that insight will help you, even when times are tough.  I sincerely believe life doesn’t have to be as hard or as bad as most people think.  I’m definitely an optimist and look to help others see the good fun life that’s possible.  If I had to quote myself, I would use the following:

“When we are doing, there is no time to dream, because we enable ourselves to live the very dreams that we are passionate about.”
